Product Manager

The Product Manager (PM) will drive the development of TuneCore’s products across music distribution, content management, and operational tooling. This role plays a key part in improving the artist experience and ensuring the seamless delivery of music to digital service providers (DSPs). The PM will collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Engineering, Operations, Design, and Marketing — to define product goals, translate business needs into technical features, and deliver measurable and impactful solutions that empower independent artists worldwide. This role requires a strong understanding of the digital music ecosystem, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can translate complex processes into intuitive, scalable products.  Lead the full product lifecycle — from ideation and requirements gathering through launch and iteration, for tools supporting distribution, content management, and operational workflows. Partner with cross-functional teams to define product priorities, build roadmaps, and deliver features that improve internal efficiency and artist outcomes. Collaborate with Engineering and QA to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and smooth product launches. Use customer research and data insights to identify opportunities for improving artist and internal user experiences. Define, monitor, and analyze key metrics to evaluate success and guide future development. Write clear, concise Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Support operational excellence by improving internal tooling and workflows for content review, ingestion, and distribution. Stay informed about music industry trends, DSP requirements, and evolving technologies to ensure TuneCore remains at the forefront of innovation.
