Javelin is a construction company seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Property & Grounds Maintenance Associate. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from supporting renovation projects to maintaining our properties year-round. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in tasks, and being part of a growing construction-focused team.
Responsibilities
Renovation Support – assist with house and property renovation projects, including site clean-up, sanding, painting, and general labor. Opportunity to grow into other construction and renovation responsibilities as skills develop.
General Property Maintenance – garage and workspace clean-up, cardboard removal, reconfiguration/organization of storage areas, and basic upkeep.
Landscaping & Lawn Care – mowing, trimming, weeding, treating lawns, planting shrubs, trimming bushes.
Snow & Seasonal Care – snow blowing, shoveling, salting, and assisting with plowing as needed.
Assembly & Repairs – assembling items such as grills, pergolas, and other equipment; replacing sprinkler heads and handling small repair tasks.
Transport & Hauling – must be able to drive, tow a trailer, and bring materials or debris to the dump as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned to support properties and construction projects.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with ability to tow trailers.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take on varied tasks.
Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying conditions.
Ability to lift, move, and operate equipment as required.
Prior landscaping, snow removal, or general maintenance experience preferred but not required.
