Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the retail industry, located in New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial records and ensuring smooth operations in our accounts payable department.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications. Provide comprehensive management of the full cycle of accounts payable including matching, batching, and coding. Utilize SAP for uploading invoices, requiring prior experience with the system. Maintain precise and up-to-date customer credit records. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Leverage knowledge of Excel for financial tasks and record keeping. Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and functions Extensive knowledge and experience in using SAP software Advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables and vlookups Experience in the retail industry is desirable Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
