What we do:The Tech Strategy Expert for Digital Workplace will support the New York Fed’s efforts to advance digital workplace capabilities, driving innovation, and efficiency across the organization. Coalesces the business strategy, business outcomes, and product roadmaps into a technology strategy and roadmap. Negotiates and balances between the direction and needs of the business groups, their associated products, and needs of technology while maintaining and building excellent, trusted, and confident relationships with business and technology leaders and staff. Works closely with the Chief Product Owners and/or Product Owners to develop plans to meet business outcomes.The Technology Strategy & Transformation team (TS&T) is responsible for leading the strategic direction of technology across the entire Bank and drives large-scale change in the following ways:
Ensures the Bank’s technology resources are aligned with the Bank’s top priorities
Leads strategic initiatives and execution of technology transformation and modernization, sustaining the Bank’s technology strategy over the long-term
Shapes the Bank’s technology strategy through a clear vision and prioritization approach
Advances organizational agility through the product delivery lifecycle to deliver business value
Incorporate user experience design into our products to ensure user adoption yields intended business outcomes
Creates sustainable change through active engagement and communication to achieve our vision
You will report to the Technology Strategy & Transformation team.Your role as Technology Strategy Expert:The Tech Strategy Expert for Digital Workplace will support the New York Fed’s efforts to advance digital workplace capabilities, driving innovation, and efficiency across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
Strategy Development: Lead the formulation and execution of strategies to enhance digital workplace capabilities, including collaboration tools, and productivity platforms.
Technology Integration: Facilitate the integration of new digital tools and platforms into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality, and user adoption.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess the performance and impact of digital workplace tools and strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior management and stakeholders in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of outcomes, timeframes, capabilities, sequencing, issues, and priorities.
Program Guidance: Strategically manage initiative risks and decisions, identifying, assessing, and managing each. Raise strategic decisions and significant changes to scope, timeline and budget to the relevant senior stakeholders.
Execution: Work with third-party vendors and service providers across the enterprise program. Ensure that appropriate and sufficient resources are allocated to the program to achieve successful and timely completion.
What we are looking for:
Experience managing large complex programs or initiatives, specifically within the realm of digital workplace or IT infrastructure.
Proven track record of managing large-scale digital transformation projects, including experience with enterprise collaboration tools and technology integration.
Ability to recognize broad themes or issues; makes forward looking evaluation of emerging trends and assessment of potential consequences and drive to appropriate solutions.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; highly collaborative working style, strong interpersonal capabilities and relationship building; proven ability to manage diverse client and stakeholder relationships, and to collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues
Experience in data analysis and using analytics to drive decision-making and strategy refinement related to digital workplace initiatives.
Excellent influence and negotiation skills; ability to facilitate discussions around complex issues and bring them to resolution.
Experience with enterprise-level IT Infrastructure and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) with a strong understanding of their integration into business operations.
Experience with agile methodologies (e,g, Scrum, Kanban) is required.
Project management professional (PMP) and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP) is desirable.
