KITCHEN MANAGER – MULTI-UNIT NYC RESTAURANT GROUP

Locations: Manhattan & Brooklyn (Multiple Locations)

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (Based on Experience)

We are working with a well-established and growing NYC restaurant group to hire hands-on Kitchen Managers for several high-volume locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn.

This is a great opportunity for an organized, people-focused BOH leader who thrives in fast-paced kitchens and is looking for long-term growth within a multi-unit restaurant group.

THE ROLE

The Kitchen Manager oversees all daily back-of-house operations and is responsible for food quality, safety, cost control, and team leadership. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Operations team to ensure consistency and smooth execution every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily kitchen operations

Ensure consistent food quality and presentation

Manage ordering, inventory, waste, and food cost

Maintain all DOH, food safety, and sanitation standards

Lead scheduling, training, and performance management

Hire, onboard, and develop BOH staff

Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and efficient

Work closely with FOH leadership for seamless service

Support new openings and cross-training as the group grows

REQUIREMENTS

2–5+ years of Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or BOH leadership experience

Experience in high-volume fast-casual, casual upscale, or full-service restaurants

Strong knowledge of food safety, inventory, and labor control

Proven leadership and team-building skills

Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure

Interested in growing long-term within a restaurant group

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (based on experience)
