We’re a small, busy shop building high-end custom doors for NYC brownstones.
We are passionate individuals who show up each day ready to work, follow our processes, and get things done, and we're looking for another individual with the same values to join our team.
We will train you in how we do things here—but you must already have solid woodworking experience. If you’ve worked in a shop before, you should understand the pace, the pressure, and the pride that come with building something right.
This is not a good fit for someone just starting out or expecting constant instruction and hand-holding.
What we’re looking for:
Relevant experience in a professional woodworking shop and your ability to demonstrate that you know your way around the shop and are capable of safely operating machinery, tools, and equipment.
Ability to follow established processes and complete work on your own
Focused, consistent, and self-motivated
Experience with site work or installations is a plus.
You’ll sometimes be the only one in the shop while others are on-site, so getting work completed to company standards on your own is key.
Grit, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic are what make someone excel here.
What we offer:
Full-time · 4-day workweek (Mon–Thu, 8am-6pm, Fridays off)
Pay: $30–$35/hr, depending on relevant and demonstrated experience
