Maintenance Technician (Handyman)

We’re seeking a field-based Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to support our offices across multiple locations. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and operating efficiently. You’ll handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks — from fixing minor plumbing issues to touching up paint — keeping every Diamond Braces location in excellent condition.

Essential Functions:

- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across multiple Diamond Braces offices (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)

- Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues promptly to minimize downtime

- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns

- Assemble, install, or relocate furniture, fixtures, and small equipment

- Coordinate and oversee outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, materials used, and completed work

- Ensure all work complies with safety, building, and health regulations

- Travel daily to various Diamond Braces locations as assigned.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or facilities support

- Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

- Ability to safely use hand and power tools

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Flexibility to travel between multiple locations within the region

- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

- Background in healthcare, dental, or multi-site facilities maintenance preferred

- Basic HVAC or appliance repair knowledge a plus

- Experience with work order tracking or maintenance scheduling systems

- Must be proficient in English (Spanish & Russian a plus).

- Proficient in standard office software & applications.

- Strong computer and digital literacy skills.

- Strong communication skills a must.
