We are looking for a "working manager"—someone who can operate our high-end equipment while simultaneously managing workflow, inventory, and team quality standards.

What You’ll Be Leading & Doing:
This is a hybrid role requiring 60% hands-on production and 40% management/operations.
Production Management & Leadership:
Workflow Orchestration: Manage the daily production schedule to ensure all jobs meet strict deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Serve as the final checkpoint for quality control; nothing leaves the shop without your approval.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels (vinyl, substrates, ink) and manage ordering to prevent downtime.
Team Mentorship: Train and guide junior production staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and precision.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance schedules for all machinery to ensure longevity and consistency.
Hands-On Operation:
Print Operation: Set up, RIP, and run jobs on large format printers (HP Latex and Mimaki R2R/Flatbed).
Precision Finishing: Expert operation of the Colex CNC machine for routing and cutting custom rigid signs and displays.
Fabrication: Hands-on weeding, masking, mounting to substrates, and laminating.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in the signage/print industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency with HP Latex and Mimaki printers is required. Deep experience with Colex/CNC routing and Flexi/Onyx/RasterLink RIP software is highly preferred.
Leadership Skills: Ability to de-escalate stress, solve problems on the fly, and communicate clearly with sales staff and ownership.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, handling large substrates (4x8 boards), and standing for extended periods.
Bilingual: English and Spanish is a big plus
