Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented technical writer. This individual will play a pivotal role in our organization by communicating complex information more clearly. The Technical Writer will work with technical staff to make products easier to use by creating user guides, helping documents, tutorials and other materials.Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals.

Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts.

Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals.

Prepare reports, correspondences, proposals, and instructional material in a comprehendible manner.

Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.

Analyze documents to maintain continuity of content style.

Collaborate with developers and technical staffs to understand product details.

Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs or potential problems.

Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts to increase users’ understanding.

Meet with Subject Matter Experts for the discussion on requirements and procedures.

Revise, edit, or update instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary.

Develop an understanding of the users' needs, and translate them into technical documents.

Requirements

Requirements:

BA/BS degree in relevant field (such as English, Journalism, Communications or Technical Writing).

Proven experience in technical writing and copy editing.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with a variety of online platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in English.

Attention to detail.

Ability to understand and explain complex information in a concise, clear manner.

Strong ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to create and edit images, flowcharts, and diagrams.

Knowledge on a specialized field, such as computer science, web design, etc. is strongly desired.

Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment is a plus.

Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
