Moss & Stone Hair is a newly remodeled, upscale, boutique salon in the Slabtown area of NW Portland. We are looking for motivated and passionate salon professionals who are looking for a thriving environment to call home. Moss & Stone Hair carries Kevin Murphy and K18.
We currently have one full-time LEASE opportunity available, a full or partial clientele book is preferred. We are not offering salaried or commission opportunities at this time. If you are an established stylist but have never leased before, we can offer some creative solutions to help you get started on a path to managing your own station!

We offer generous lease incentives for full-time stylists including one and a half months of free rent to get you started. In addition, we offer generous stylist discounts of up to 50%, a competitive monthly retail commission of up to 20% with free back bar promotions, one-week rental respite per year (that's PTO) for full-time stylists, and free parking for stylists and guests.
BOUTIQUE FEEL.
Our clients experience a laid-back, boutique experience when they enter our salon. They are welcome to relax in our inviting waiting area and enjoy a cup of coffee, sparkling beverage, or glass of wine while they wait for their service. We offer Kevin Murphy and K18, in addition to other retail offerings as well as a back bar stocked with Kevin Murphy products for stylist use.
EDUCATION.
Moss & Stone Hair believes that we should never stop learning! We offer ongoing education opportunities, in the salon, with our supply partners and other educators. Our stylists have the opportunity to learn new techniques on blonding, color application, cutting techniques, and even business development. Many of these classes are offered at no cost or a reduced price for our stylist team.
BUSINESS PROMOTION.
You need the tools to effectively promote and manage your behind-the-chair business and Moss & Stone Hair wants to support that! We provide our stylists with a Vagaro scheduling system, online booking, business cards, and a personalized online bio on our website and social media pages.
SAFETY.
Personal safety is extremely important to our team. Our salon is housed in a secure building with 24-hour security and a coded entry system for added safety.
Our atmosphere is trendy and upscale but relaxed and casual. We are proud to create an environment for artists to explore and express their individual styles while also being welcoming to clients and guests.
