As a Commercial Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of concrete construction projects. This includes managing a team of concrete workers, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget, and maintaining a safe and efficient work site.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all phases of commercial concrete construction projects from start to finish
- Supervise a team of concrete workers, including laborers, concrete finishers, and equipment operators
- Schedule and coordinate work assignments, ensuring that project deadlines are met
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and guidelines on the job site
- Inspect work in progress to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
- Manage and maintain project budget, including tracking expenses and materials
- Communicate effectively with project coordinator, and other team members to ensure project success
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, encouraging professional growth and development
- Keep accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, labor hours, and material usage
- Problem-solve and make decisions to keep projects on track and within budget
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial concrete construction, with previous experience in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret project blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
