Position Summary: Maintaining the buildings so they function in a quality manner. Completing all work in a timely manner according to the clients’ requirements and making necessary repairs on buildings and equipment.Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration Effectively communicates with external vendors and contractors as applicable to request quotes and/or complete projectsLearn and perform routine and non-routine duties independently to execute with minimal guidanceDiagnose problems and suggest possible solutionsKeep abreast of current developments and trends in professional areaUnderstand technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the jobDemonstrate and maintain awareness of innovations and progress in respective field(s)Assist with projects in a timely mannerInstall new equipment and repair minor to critical campus equipment.Assist with projects and respond to emergent repairs.Service Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS)Administer preventative maintenanceGive general assistance to supervisorTrash handlingCommunicate effectively with clients and staff membersConducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.Performs other duties as assigned
