Omnicell is seeking a customer-centric, dynamic and experienced Director of Product Management to spearhead the strategy and execution of our innovative Anesthesia and Supply solutions. This is not just a role; it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare transformation, where your visionary leadership will drive the creation of integrated hardware and software solutions that redefine patient care.In this role, you are completely comfortable with defining and validating market opportunities, building business cases, and translating market and customer needs into product and service requirements. You are skilled in responding to requests from multiple market-facing business units, and adept at defining priorities and trade-offs.Key Responsibilities:

Develop a keen understanding of market segments, buyer personas and buying criteria, win/loss analysis

Stay abreast of the changes to the regulatory environment and competitive landscape for Anesthesia and Supply

Develop relationships with customers and prospects. Work collaboratively with the customer and sales teams to understand and document customer and market need

Develop and maintain a 3–5-year product roadmap for each product line

Partner closely with sales and finance, develop business cases for your product roadmap

Secure funding for product enhancements via the enterprise portfolio investment process

Prioritize problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and translate business cases into detailed requirements

Identify and build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

Define targeted price points and margin targets over time and how they will be achieved working collaboratively with pricing, finance, sales, product management, engineering, the customer experience

Work with sales, finance and customer experience teams to define and achieve bookings and revenue targets

Work with cross functional team members on organizational readiness for launch to market and market introduction

Communicate a high-level client value-based vision for the product and manage detailed execution plans.

Report on overall product performance against key metrics and scorecards

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into product plans and programs

Ability to drive tactically, always maintaining a big picture view

Excellent communications skills: written, verbal, group presentations

Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and effectively prioritize to achieve optimal results.

Flexibility to partner with and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels inside and outside the organization

Strong understanding of P&L and experience in building business models.

Effective leadership, mentorship, and team motivation skills.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

10 years product management experience in an agile environment, including all phases of product lifecycle – from innovation to commercialization through sunset

3 years of hands-on experience building product roadmaps within the context of overall product and organizational priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or master’s level degree preferred

Understanding of anesthesia and supply workflows, challenges faced by covered entities and current vendors

Experience with healthcare providers, pharmacy operations, medtech products and/or start-up companies

Proven success in delivering product platforms using a combination of building, buying, and partnering

Certified Product Manager (CPM)

Work Conditions:

This position is HYBRID out of our Austin, TX, Dallas-Fort Worth, TX or Pittsburgh, PA office.

Management of a remote team

Preference will be given to candidates in the greater Austin area.

This position requires up to 25% US based travel
