Although our skills are in demand in a number of industries, we apply them specifically to the noble cause of healthcare.The CereCore Senior Director of Consulting will work closely with the most senior executives in client companies such as the C suite, VPs and others and is responsible for providing higher level of consultation for organizational improvements and delivering specific results for the clients. The senior Director will work with clients and play an important role in the development and implementation of new strategies and initiatives within their organization. They may be involved in brainstorming new ideas, developing business plans, and leading teams to implement new projects. Senior consultants are also responsible for mentoring and training junior consultants, and helping them to develop their skills and knowledge. This role will also oversee program delivery through project management, client relationship management and monitoring of the successful development and implementation of all projects assigned by CereCore and in that role will have project resources reporting to them.As this role relates to the security and compliance work with the client, the individual will create and implement Healthcare cybersecurity strategy and provide proactive cyber security risk management for current and future clients. The individual will act as the lead liaison to clients requiring Cybersecurity Information Security Officer (CISO) support services and may lead cybersecurity assessments, consolidate findings, develop roadmaps, remediation strategies and deliver client out briefing of findings. The scope of work includes Infrastructure Operations and Engineering cybersecurity design and review, risk assessments, vulnerability and threat assessments, compliance assessments in accordance with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, RMF 800-53, HHS 405d, and other industry best practices. The candidate will develop and execute vulnerability mitigation plans, incident response plans, develop and lead tabletop exercises, develop security event remediation plans, along with compliance and audit support.The candidate will ensure the implementation of industry best practice security measures are in accordance with established procedures to ensure safety, reliability, confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.Some of the duties are (not limited):
Ownership and coordination of the project and program deliverables management process
Assured compliance with project and program control minimum standards
Setting objectives: Establishing guidelines and goals
Developing programs: Leading the development of services and programs
Managing all project and program staff including project managers and other assigned project resources.
Delegating tasks, hiring and supervising new program managers, and supervising project managers
Creating budgets: Creating budgets and other business-related documents
Assessing needs: Identifying clients’ needs, developing solutions, delivering results and evaluating its effectiveness
Assigning funding: Designating funding for the programs and tracking to maintain budget
Working with others: Liaising with external parties, such as CereCore partners, client vendors and working with leadership to set strategic goals
Providing supervision: Supervising project managers through meetings and reports, and updating senior management on project progress
Resolving problems: Addressing problems or concerns promptly and efficiently
Production of overall program status reports
Staying up to date and current on the latest technologies
Assess computing needs for clients and develop solutions leveraging CereCore’s internal subject matter experts Specific security requirements will include (but not limited to):
Provide analytical and technical security recommendations to clients and other team members, and technical teams. Provide cyber security guidance to customer leadership, work in collaboration with client to develop security recommendations. Provide input and review to implementation plans and standard operating procedures as they relate to Healthcare /HIPAA/PHI cyber security standards. Develop specific cyber security countermeasures and risk mitigation strategies for systems and/or applications related to the medical field, IoMT and IoT.
Work closely with client’s technical teams to implement effective security configurations/requirements including: Analyze and design security measures to help resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and recommend security changes to system or system components as needed. Make Mitigation and remediation recommendations/correct security deficiencies identified during assessments and make recommendations for risk acceptance for the appropriate senior leadership when feasible.
Work closely with Cerecore Executive leadership to provide status updates on client work as required.
Assist with vulnerability mitigation planning, incident response activities for security and compliance requirements.
Assist with Threat Intelligence assessment and reporting, including preparation of findings and out briefings for customers.
Support customers through the maturation of their cybersecurity programs.
Provide cybersecurity training per client request.
The position requires strong communication skills to communicate with the senior leadership, board members, project teams, as well as lead key delivery team to deliver quality work products for the clients. The Senior Director must be results-oriented with a demonstrated strong commitment and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Moderate travel and up to 30% may be required.Matrixed reporting structure to this position may include:
VP of Managed Services or other senior leaders within CereCore depending on the project.
Senior client executives on the delivery of projects and managing the overall client portfolio.

The business development of this role is about 25% of the responsibility.

Provide management, either directly or indirectly, of other CereCore Project Management staff to assure quality of work and integration of team members’ work.

Act in a CereCore Program Management role as a single point of contact and accountability in coordination with ITG for large scale CereCore or HCA technology development and implementation initiatives.
