Billing Clerk

Description We are in search of a Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role primarily involves the accurate processing of invoices in alignment with client contracts, alongside collaborating with various departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain a current billing system. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with client contracts. Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve any discrepancies in billing. Maintain an updated billing system to ensure efficient operation. Meet all billing and reporting deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate service. Conduct regular audits of billing invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts. Process necessary adjustments and write-offs in the billing system. Continuously develop and improve billing workflows and processes. Produce accurate billing invoices in a timely manner. Review and verify invoices and check requests, ensuring all details are correct. Set invoices for payment and process those due for payment. Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Billing to manage Accounts Receivable and handle Answering Inbound Calls. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must. Experience with Computerized Billing is required. Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures is necessary. Ability to manage and respond to Inbound Calls professionally and efficiently.
