Primary Services is looking for an experienced Superintendent-Civil Construction to support a major organization within the commercial and industrial construction sector. This position plays a critical role in directing on-site operations for complex ground-up projects, including pre-engineered metal buildings, office facilities, and related civil work. As a Superintendent, you will oversee all field activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Lead on-site construction operations for ground-up PEMB facilities, office structures, and civil scopes.

Oversee subcontractors, field crews, and local support personnel across all phases of construction.

Manage PEMB erection, site preparation, utilities installation, concrete work, and interior build-out.

Coordinate material procurement and verify timely delivery to support uninterrupted project flow.

Maintain construction schedules while upholding quality and safety standards.

Complete daily reports, track project progress, and communicate effectively with project leadership.

Ensure field execution adheres to project plans, specifications, and organizational expectations.

Provide direct oversight for a major project requiring several months on-site in Corpus Christi, followed by continued work on Houston-based assignments.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in general contracting, civil construction, steel building projects, or water/wastewater construction.

Completion of at least 3–4 PEMB or steel building projects strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to manage entire projects rather than a single discipline.

Ability to travel to Corpus Christi for extended on-site project duration prior to transitioning to Houston work.

Strong leadership and field management capability supported by practical construction experience.

Proficiency in coordinating field operations and maintaining schedule, safety, and quality compliance.
