The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.Overall/ Daily tasks include:
Oversight to daily operations in the department
Oversight of operational efficiencies such as on-time starts and turnovers
Development of staff member to practice at the top of their license by providing growth opportunities
Supporting staff to have the correct tools and resources to complete their job roles
Support positive growth in service lines
Previous Pre Op/ PACU Experience required.Previous Experience in SDS, PACU Surgery Center and Hospital settings preferredOR Suites –10 suites – Main and SDS in same areaSchedule- Full Time- 40hrs/ week- Variable schedule per surgical volume and needs of unit- typically 5x8hrs.No call required but may need to fill in on occasion to cover for team if need arisesQualifications:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
3 years RN experience, required
1-year clinical leadership experience, required
High School GED required
A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required
Masters Degree preferred
Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
BLS through the American Heart Association
Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.
Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved
