Our nonverbal daughter needs an attentive, strong and caring companion/caregiver to help with all ADLs. She has moderate to severe physical and cognitive disabilities, as well as hearing and vision deficits. She needs help with showering, toileting, feeding, medication, dressing, lifting, transferring, decision-making, and has a variety of adaptive equipment in addition to her wheelchair. She loves music and being outdoors in our quiet neighborhood. She does have seizures and has had cancer twice. She cannot tell you if something hurts or if something is wrong with her. Once you are familiar with each other you can often tell what she wants to communicate to you.
We need weekday morning hours from 7 to 9 a,m, and afternoon/evening hours from 3 to 7 p.m. We need Saturdays twice monthly, Sunday mornings and occasional 24/7 care.
Pay rate starts at $13.88/hr.
