General Manager – Residential Construction
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 annually (salary + performance bonuses)

CAZ Construction is a residential multi-trade general contractor with divisions in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, insulation, and heat pumps. We design, build, remodel, and repair homes across northwest Washington—working on everything from luxury estates to single-wide homes. Our clients include homeowners, housing authorities, general contractors, business owners, and non-profit organizations. The Opportunity
Our current General Manager is moving on to her next adventure, and we are seeking a new leader to guide CAZ Construction into the future. The GM is responsible for daily operations and achieving company goals in customer satisfaction, employee safety, and financial performance. The GM oversees Operations Managers and reports directly to the Managing Member.
Key Responsibilities
● Partner with the Managing Member to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term company goals
● Manage operations, sales, and finances across all divisions
● Report progress on safety, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
● Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws
● Oversee employee performance in collaboration with Operations Managers
● Assist in developing policies such as the employee handbook and accident prevention plan
Ideal Candidate
● 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in residential construction or a related field
● Proven success managing diverse teams through a servant leadership model
● Track record of achieving customer satisfaction, employee safety, and financial goals
● Excellent communication skills—able to clearly articulate goals and empower staff
● Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
● Ability to maintain and strengthen our family-like culture
