We are now interviewing for a part time (15-20 hours/week) retail associate to start now and train for a busy holiday season!

Woodland Mod Sales Associates are at the heart of our customer’s experience. Genuinely warm, mature and naturally driven, you are a fan of everything we sell. That enthusiasm brings a level of excitement to our store that makes discovering new products fun and keeps customers coming back. You love the opportunity to bring an engaged positive experience to every customer by learning about and passing along the story of the unique brands we sell.

Retail experience or background in design-oriented field a plus.

Excellent reading, written and verbal language skills

Excellent communication/listening skills and basic math skills

Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds, heavier merchandise with team assist

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Exceptional customer service skills – professional, patient, calm and supportive

Team player: cooperative, builds relationships easily, handles adversity with maturity and professionalism and always supports their peers: we are a small team, so a great team fit is a priority

A genuine appreciation and affinity for small business

Flexible and fluid with changing priorities and processes

What you’ll do:

Hours: 15-25 hours per week, weekends required

Receiving, pricing, and organizing inventory front and back of house

Fulfillment of online orders

Plant maintenance (watering, general care)

Maintain sales displays, manage register and customer floor coverage

Restock all store displays and shelves in between customer interactions.

Remain attentive to customer needs and provide product suggestions and advice

Frame/wrapping of framed art prints

Share product expertise and brand stories

Maintain an awareness of marketing initiatives and local events

Inventory/stockroom management and various back of store assigned duties

Basic store maintenance (I.e. cleaning, dusting, recycle/garbage, vacuuming)
