Superior Skilled Trades has immediate needs for experienced Commercial Carpenters for jobsites in the Waunakee/Madison, WI areas within 40 miles. Must be able to travel between jobsites for continued employment, temp to hire.
Position: Commercial Carpenter
Pay: $32 to $38 per hour (Weekly Pay!)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT and weekend work as needed)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
Construct, install, and repair wood, steel, and other structural materials
Perform stick framing and metal stud framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Install doors, frames, blocking, and other carpentry components
Collaborate with other trades for smooth project execution
Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
Maintain a safe and organized job site
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience, including 2+ years in heavy commercial carpentry work
Steel Stud experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Must have your hand tools
Must have reliable transportation
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Job requires the use of proper PPE: Work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
