Description We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client in the manufacturing industry, located here in Tucson. This contract position is for 3-6 months with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.In this role, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for maintaining invoices, tracking payments, resolving discrepancies, light collections, billing, and keeping track of accounts to ensure smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accuracy of invoices, payments, and other financial records for the organization.
Resolve disputes related to payments, unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure accurate billing and collection procedures.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Enhance and implement various financial policies and controls to improve efficiency and profitability.
Prepare regular reports and forecasts related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Excellent data entry skills and proficiency with financial management software.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous ERP system experience preferred
