Express Employment Professionals is urgently hiring for a temporary Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist in Kearny Mesa. This qualified candidate is responsible for performing advanced financial, clerical, and administrative duties related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Apply customer payments to accounts, including checks, ACH, credit card transactions, and wire transfers.
Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.
Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies.
Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, and payment status.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Qualifications:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable. Prior Level I accounting experience strongly preferred.
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience accepted.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Estimated duration: 1-3 Months
Pay: $24/hr.
