Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate and assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting regulations.
Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in preparing for audits and collaborate with auditors during audits.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
