Starting salary up to $53.95/hour ($112,600/year) and a competitive total compensation package!
This position reports directly to the Administrative Services Officer II for the Department Fiscal/Budget team and is responsible for providing accounting and administrative support for one or more of the Department’s operating Divisions. In this role, the Budget Analyst will be expected to support and take direction from Division managers as appropriate and manage the day-to-day work of a Senior Account Clerk.
The duties for this position include:
Developing and managing one or more assigned Division budget for SPI including development and tracking of annual budgets, quarterly estimates, and budget adjustments
Reviewing and approving payments to suppliers, requisitions, and journals in the County financial system (EFS)
Developing, reviewing, and approving Division Board Items
Facilitating procurement process for the Division including drafting Requests for Proposals/Qualifications, Professional Service Agreements, single/sole source waivers, approving requisitions, and reviewing purchase orders
Generating reports, analyzing financial information, and making recommendations in order for division/project managers to make sound operational decisions
