About the Property:
A charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo located in the vibrant and historic Chatham neighborhood on the Southside of Chicago. This property offers a cozy living environment with easy access to public transportation, local shops, and parks, and is listed as a short-term rental on Airbnb.
Responsibilities:
Meet guests at the condo to assist with check-in, as self-check-in is not possible. This is a very important aspect of the role. If you can not do this, this will not be a good fit. This is a mandatory requirement.
Other Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Airbnb property.
Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and check-ins/check-outs promptly and professionally.
Coordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure the property is always in excellent condition.
Ensure the property is well-stocked with necessary supplies for guests.
Respond to guest issues or emergencies in a timely manner to ensure a positive guest experience.
Advertise and market the property on Airbnb and other short-term rental platforms to attract potential guests.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding short-term rentals.
Maintain financial records, prepare budgets, and provide regular reports to the property owner.
Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in property management, preferably with short-term rentals or Airbnb properties.
Strong knowledge of short-term rental practices and procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in property management software, Airbnb platform, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of local, state, and federal short-term rental regulations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, real estate, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Property management certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) is a plus.
Compensation:
