Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in the non-profit sector in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The core function of this role involves a blend of property management, tenant relations, and administrative tasks, with a focus on maintaining the transitional housing units within our organization. Responsibilities: Obtain leases for units to ensure maximum occupancy rates and adequate housing for the program's demand. Conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections and carry out required follow-ups. Schedule and monitor maintenance, clean out, and lock changes in units between tenants. Address tenant, landlord, and VA maintenance concerns to ensure safety and decency standards are maintained. Implement corrective actions and follow up with landlords to ensure compliance. Deliver services effectively that comply with contract and regulatory requirements. Stage units to provide a comfortable and safe living environment. Assist with the delivery and staging of units. Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all property-related equipment, furnishings, and supplies. Welcome new residents to the transitional housing and provide orientation of facility rules and procedures. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, documenting property conditions. Generate regular reports on property status and maintenance activities. Apply Fair Housing Law and Commercial Property Management principles to all duties. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative role within the non-profit sector Familiarity with Fair Housing and Fair Housing Law Experience in commercial property management Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Demonstrated problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team High level of attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
