Carer explanation
Interested Carers:
-company pays $19/hr for day and evening shift, and $21/hr overnight (accra homecare)
-any level of experience welcome, but need to be self directed after some training
-COVID safety is a necessity, kn95 masks required to wear during shifts, we can provide them
-tolerance for cigarette smoke! she is a heavy smoker indoors
-femmes, women, trans, queer people preferred - cannot work with cisgender straight men
Available shifts
-Tues, Sat, Sun evening shift 6p-11p
Back up shifts are based on when someone is sick or needs time off:
-morning shift is 11a-4p
-eve shift is 6p-11p
-night shift is 12p-8am
Caregiving Needs:
-transfers from bed to commode with electric ceiling lift
-rolling cigarettes with electric roller
-make simple soft meals
-bed baths
-laundry
-cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, cleaning tray surfaces, dishes
-an ability to roll with very specific placement of items
-if working a day shift with medical appointments - take notes and post it to our discord
-understanding of dementia and how to care for someone with memory loss (can train)

-throughout her life she has given to others with consistent activism and caregiving - we want to give that energy back to her during her "gifted time"
