In this exciting role as a Senior Post-Market Quality Engineer, you will have responsibility for ensuring our products exceed the safety and reliability requirements and expectations of patients, clinicians, regulators, and the business.This position is in Mounds View, MN. within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Operating Unit and requires on-site presence three days a week.We believe that when people from different cultures, genders, and points of view come together, innovation is the result —and everyone wins. This includes, but is not limited to the following:· Qualifies suppliers according to company standards.· Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.· Support external and internal audits in varying roles.· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support emerging issues and complete in-depth investigations from internal and field signals.· Supporting business reviews and internal data requests.· Ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Including CAPA/sCAPA, nonconformances, audit findings, etc. related to suppliers quality· As necessary, proposing and supporting supplier changes to improve systems and/or processes.Must Have - Minimum RequirementsTO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE BE SURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME· Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, math, statistics, or a technical discipline· Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceNice to Have· Experience working in post market supplier quality· Working knowledge of data analytics and database development tools such as; Spotfire, Business Objects, Snowflake, SQL, SAS, Python· Medical Device Industry experience or other regulated industry.· Familiarity with these regulations: FDA 21 CFR Part 820 cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and ISO 5841-2.· Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cooperatively as part of a cross functional team.· Ability to manage project timelines to execute deliverables in a timely manner.· Ability to solve problems and innovate solutions.About MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
