Warehouse Associate

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in the Service industry based in Northern New Jersey. In this role, you will be expected to efficiently handle various warehouse tasks and duties, maintain organization, and ensure effective operations.Responsibilities: Secure ladders to walls as part of safety protocols Manage the movement and placement of pallets on shelves Maintain organization within the warehouse, including the proper arrangement of boxes Label boxes accurately and efficiently Dispose of garbage and unwanted materials regularly to maintain cleanliness in the warehouse Handle rolling bins and ensure they are correctly placed Remove and dispose of dunnage in the designated dumpster Receive and execute tasks provided by the warehouse manager using available warehouse resources Actively seek feedback or instructions to improve performance Group materials appropriately for efficient warehouse organization Utilize skills in Data Entry and Organizing Files for maintaining warehouse records.Requirements Proficiency in data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and speed Demonstrated experience in organizing and managing files systematically Prior experience in performing warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials Proven ability to label items correctly for easy identification and retrieval Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items when necessary Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record keeping Willingness to adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines within the warehouse Flexibility to work in shifts, over weekends, or holidays if required High school diploma or equivalent qualification Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
