Warehouse Associate

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join our team based in Carlstadt, New Jersey. In this role, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse in the service industry. Your main responsibilities will involve a variety of warehouse duties including organizing materials, ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy, and maintaining accurate records.Responsibilities: Accurately label boxes as part of the inventory management process Efficiently move and organize pallets on shelves to optimize space Secure ladders to walls to ensure a safe working environment Regularly dispose of garbage to maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse Conduct data entry tasks to keep up-to-date records of warehouse activities Move rolling bins as needed to facilitate easy access to items Remove and dispose of dunnage to prevent damage to cargo Group materials in an organized manner for easy location and access Communicate effectively with the warehouse manager, taking on tasks and seeking feedback or instruction as necessary Maintain an organized system for files to facilitate easy retrieval and reference. Requirements Proficiency in data entry tasks Experience in organizing files and documents Familiarity with general warehouse duties Ability to accurately label items as required Good physical health to perform manual labor tasks Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Adherence to safety and compliance regulations in the warehouse Willingness to undergo relevant training as required.
