We are a Manhattan-based service company specializing in commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment. We are looking for an experienced technician who can diagnose and repair professional restaurant equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, steamers) and commercial refrigeration systems (reach-ins, prep tables, undercounter units, ice machines, walk-ins).
Requirements:
Must have own professional tool set
Technician must have their own equipment: vacuum pump, gauges, recovery machine, brazing torch
Ability to braze copper lines and replace compressors
Experience working with refrigerants (R404A, R134a, R410A, R290, R600a, etc.)
Having a personal vehicle is preferred
Reliability, cleanliness, and ability to work independently
Compensation & Terms:
Technician receives 60% of the total invoice (gross) for each completed job
Company receives 40%
Technician purchases all necessary parts at their own expense
Cost of parts is reimbursed by the client at the time of payment
Payments to the technician are made once per week, on a set day, after job completion is confirmed
