Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is in the telecom industry and the workplace is a highly technical environment where you will be responsible for providing technically accurate, user-friendly solutions to basic end-user issues.Responsibilities: Provide solutions to basic end-user requests such as Active Directory management, printer issues, and email issues. Offer application support and handle new user creation and user off-boarding requests. Build and set up workstation/laptop. Display a general awareness of computer systems, PC repair, and network management. Troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise with resourcefulness and quick-thinking. Deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobile. Maintain an understanding and appreciation for information security within systems and user devices. Provide excellent customer service and experience, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks. Utilize hands-on experience with diagnostics and resolving basic technical issues. Demonstrate full knowledge on MS Windows 10 Pro and basic knowledge of standard Microsoft Products. Requirements The candidate must have familiarity and experience with Active Directory. Proficiency in MS Windows 10 is a requirement for this role. The role is open to individuals with varying levels of experience, including those at the beginning of their career. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues is essential. The candidate must have strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with users experiencing issues. A high level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks is necessary for this role. The candidate must have the ability to work well in a team, as well as independently when required. Knowledge of ITIL processes would be advantageous. The candidate must be willing to engage in continuous learning and skill development. The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security standards is a must. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Availability for shift work, including nights and weekends, may be required.
