Description We are offering a contract to hire contract opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Columbus, Ohio. This role primarily involves providing administrative support within a telecom provider setting. The successful candidate will be stationed onsite, functioning as a key point of contact and support for the team.Responsibilities: Respond to inbound calls and promptly address customer inquiries Execute data entry tasks with precision and diligence Manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups Coordinate travel arrangements including flight bookings for board meetings Prepare board documents, ensuring they are complete and accurate Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various tasks Schedule appointments efficiently, avoiding conflicts and optimizing time management Maintain appropriate and engaging grammar in professional writing tasks Serve as a polished speaker, representing the team in a professional manner Greet and assist visitors, providing excellent customer service at all times.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound calls Strong customer service skills Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy Excellent skills in email correspondence, including proper and engaging grammar usage Experience in scheduling appointments and coordinating travel arrangements Proficiency in booking travel arrangements Familiarity with board reporting Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team Must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work Knowledge of office management systems and procedures High school degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
