Sound and Vibration Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sound and Vibration Engineer to join our team in Norman, OK. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in acoustics and vibration for a wide range of commercial HVAC rooftop and split system products. You will support both new product development and sustaining engineering through analytical modeling, test program execution, research, and problem diagnostics.Define product sound and vibration requirements and serve as a technical resource for internal teams and field personnelPerform acoustic and vibration measurements using specialized equipment and softwareAnalyze test data and prepare comprehensive reports addressing noise and vibration issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acoustic and vibration considerations into product designsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and engineering reportsProvide sound ratings for publication and assist sales engineering with customer inquiriesStay current with advancements in acoustic and vibration technologies and industry standardsParticipate in research initiatives and standards development through professional and trade associationsManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgetsTravel occasionally to project sites for on-site measurements and assessments
