Sustaining Engineer

The Senior Engineer will work on the Commercial Products team that is part of the Bosch Home Comfort Group.  In this division we design, manufacture and assemble heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for the light commercial market.  This position will be in our Norman, OK facility and will report to the Director of Engineering for Commercial Products.This role will plan and conduct engineering projects with significant magnitude and scope usually involving integration among diverse systems. This position works independently to meet customer needs through creative application of engineering principles.The Senior Engineer will perform the following:Creates and develops product and/or system concepts or operating processes to fulfill business needsDevelops and designs processes, systems and procedures utilizing standard engineering or technology principles to complete assignmentsIdentifies, investigates and recommends improvements in products, systems or processes to improve the product application or operation.  Conducts engineering or systems evaluation and experimentation to analyze applications or operation feasibility and explore alternativesDevelops working prototypes or detailed plans and outlines testing for compliance with requirementsPlans and schedules projects, tests and changes to optimize utilization while meeting established time schedules and budgetsPerforms project planning considering schedule, cost and resource constraintsProvides technical feedback and consultation to other organizations involved in system design or implementation activitiesPrepares product documentation, operating instructions and reviews related technical literatureOther duties as assigned
