Join a trusted adult family home in Vancouver, WA where residents receive high quality care in a warm, homelike setting. We are hiring a dependable live-in caregiver. In this role, you will have the support of an experienced team along with the stability of a comfortable, private living space.

Position Details

Schedule: This is a salaried live-in role that includes housing, utilities, and food. You are expected to live onsite full time and cover night shifts. Night shifts are on-call, and caregivers typically sleep through most of the night. The number of scheduled daytime shifts per week is based on experience and agreed-upon compensation.

Compensation: $3,300 to $5,000 per month, depending on experience and number of days off. Salary increase after 7 months.

Shifts: Night shifts included as part of regular duties.

Private living space provided, including: two bedrooms, living room and kitchenette, two bathrooms

Supportive work environment with strong references from current and former staff.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.

Prepare meals for residents.

Perform housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Monitor and record vital signs, food and fluid intake, and weight.

Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

Communicate effectively with staff and maintain a team-oriented approach.

Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current WA State CNA or HCA license.

Prior caregiving experience in an adult family home and/or experience as a live-in caregiver is preferred.

Valid TB test (2-step or chest X-ray).

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Nurse Delegation certificate (including diabetes).

Valid Social Security Number.

Able to pass a background check.

Able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.

Dependable, with strong experience in similar caregiving environments.
