The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking to hire a Clerical Assistant to work in the Bureau of Information and Education in our Harrisburg Headquarters . DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Clerical Assistant 3, you will focus on providing clerical and office support, data entry, and records management, to ensure operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. Work includes updating databases, assisting with gathering samples, maintaining records, and managing contracts. You will have the opportunity to assist with managing the Hunter-Trapper Education program records, which includes maintaining the hunter-trapper education student graduate database and responding to inquiries from the members of the public regarding whether they have successfully completed the program. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Responding to incoming calls and correspondence
Creating, tracking, receiving, and reconciling purchase orders in the Commonwealth’s SAP system
Reconciling division credit card statements in US Bank system
Assisting other clerical staff within the Bureau of Information and Education as needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title);or
One year of moderately complex clerical experience;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
