THE POSITIONThe Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Engineering District 10-0 is actively searching for a qualified individual to join our team as a Transportation Construction Manager 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn the role of District Schedule Reviewer, you will oversee the scheduling program, ensuring adherence to contract plans and documentation to achieve departmental objectives of cost reduction while upholding quality standards. Additionally, you will offer scheduling assistance to design and construction teams, facilitating the development of schedules that align with those of the contractors' scheduling specialists. Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor;or

Four years of experience in construction inspection, including one year in a supervisory capacity; and graduation from high school or equivalent certification of formal training. Completion of a training program in construction inspection sanctioned by the using agency may be substituted for high school graduation. An Associate Degree in an engineering or closely related technology may be substituted for one year of the required non-supervisory experience;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Other Requirements:

This particular position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.
