Description We are in the process of recruiting a Credit/Collections Manager in Austin, Texas. This role involves overseeing our credit and collections department, which includes managing customer applications, maintaining records, and resolving inquiries. This role is crucial for our finance team and contributes to ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.Responsibilities: Lead and manage the credit and collections team, fostering a cohesive and efficient working environment. Develop and implement processes for collections metrics and strategies to ensure optimal performance. Manage the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer credit records, using ERP systems such as Oracle. Handle customer inquiries related to credit and collections, providing prompt and effective solutions. Monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action when necessary. Utilize intermediate Excel functions such as V-Lookups to manage and analyze data. Collaborate with other departments, including accounting, to coordinate financial operations. Utilize CRM systems to manage customer relationships and data. Perform accounting functions related to accounts receivable, billing, cash activity, and cash applications. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in credit and collections, including experience with B2B collections, accounting software systems, and ADP - Financial Services. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Credit/Collections Manager. Proficiency in 3M is required. Demonstrable experience in using Accounting Software Systems. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential. Experience in B2B collections is mandatory. Proficient in using CRM tools. Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions. The role requires knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Must have experience in Billing Functions. Demonstrable experience in managing Cash Activity and Cash Applications is crucial.
