Want to make something delicious? The Bagel in Stowe is looking for a bagel baker and dough maker.
Job requires boiling and baking many flavors of bagels, making dough, cleaning and a few other tasks. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Experience preferred. Reliability is essential. Will train a suitable candidate.
Once the bagels are coming out consistently, there may be opportunities to do more. Shifts vary in length depending on business levels but generally start at 2:30am most days. We are looking for someone to do the Saturday, Sunday and Monday shifts. Currently we are closed Mondays and the dough shift is flexible on timing. We are hoping to open Mondays as well when staffing allows. That would be an early shift. There is a possibility of one additional shift per week baking. We will consider other schedules on a case-by-case basis.
This is a year-round position. This can also be combined with a counter position for additional hours.
Bakers receive a direct cut of sales in addition to hourly pay.
