Job Title: Construction Project Manager (PM)
Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embodies our company’s core values. The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and excels in time management and organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects while upholding the integrity and standards that define Stalcup Construction & Design, LLC. Traveling to job sites in other states is required.
Responsibilities:
Read and comprehend plans for all construction phases from initiation to completion.
Ensure projects align with agreed-upon plans and timelines.
Identify and resolve inconsistencies between plans and actual job sites.
Obtain necessary regulations and permits.
Order essential supplies, tools, and equipment.
Manage and oversee construction crews, providing effective direction on project plans, timelines, and safety issues.
Communicate professionally with clients.
Adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality control measures.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
Submit safety meeting logs and progress reports promptly.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
Utilize scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, and construction workers.
Ability to supervise construction crews effectively.
Proficiency in reading and understanding detailed plans.
Exceptional organizational, time management, problem-solving, and budgeting skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (Real ID required by May 2023).
Reliable working truck and valid insurance.
Mobile phone.
Ability to walk on hard surfaces for the duration of the workday.
No physical limitations that would impede job performance.
Minimum of 2 years of construction experience in our field.
Bonus Abilities:
OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training.
Construction Project Management certification.
Work Hours and Benefits:
Full-time position requiring on-site presence throughout the project duration.
Working hours: Monday (10hrs), Tuesday-Thursday (9hrs), and Friday (8hrs).
PTO
Pay range 65k-80k depending on experience.
