Job Summary
This is a temp-to-permanent position. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the President of the company around from project to project while he is on the phone and computer communicating with customers. This position is 25-30 hours a week Mon-Fri during Fall/Winter and 40 hours a week Mon-Fri during Spring/Summer. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Operate full-size truck with good driving record
Follow designated routes while maintaining adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with customers when necessary
Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
Maintain accurate records including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
Skills
Able to use GPS and Google Maps
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
Valid Driver's License with good verifiable driving record
Proficient in operating automatic transmission vehicles is preferred.
Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
Bilingual candidate is a plus, but not required
