Responsibilities

Review plans/specs and produce accurate scopes and quantity takeoffs (CSI divisions)

Build detailed cost estimates (ROM, SD/DD/CD, hard bid, change orders, GMP support)

Solicit, compare, and level subcontractor/supplier bids; document inclusions/exclusions

Negotiate pricing, terms, and schedules; recommend awards

Prepare bid tabs, scope sheets, VE options, and schedule of values

Maintain cost databases, unit prices, and vendor/sub lists across Florida regions

Support procurement and buyout (quotes, POs, sub awards)

Coordinate with management on budgets, timelines, and risk items

Qualifications

Proven experience as a construction estimator (residential/commercial)

Excellent plan reading and takeoff skills; strong commercial sense for pricing

Confident negotiator with subcontractors and suppliers

Proficiency with Bluebeam (or similar), PlanSwift/STACK (or similar), and Excel

Knowledge of Florida labor/material markets and typical scopes

Organized, timely, and clear communicator; bilingual (EN/ES) a plus

Miami-based with ability to coordinate statewide

Compensation & Schedule

Full-time; competitive pay based on experience
