We are looking for a licensed (CNA, HHA, RN, LPN, RT, PT, OT) to be my 74-y.o. wife's caregiver for 2 days a week, for the next six months in a private home in Kamuela, beginning November 4 or so.
She is an MD who sustained a TBI in a bike accident 10 years ago. She's fighting hard to regain her function and get her medical license back so she can continue to serve the public. Wheelchair-bound, though can weight bear and does standing-pivoting transfers. She works out with a personal trainer everyday on land and in the water. Great attitude, optimistic for her recovery.
You would be on duty from 6 am to 8 pm daily. Once in a great while you'd need to help with toileting after hours, but that would be rare.
