Looking for a live in dependable and compassionate caregiver to support our elderly family member in their own home. The ideal candidate is nurturing, trustworthy, and experienced in assisting seniors with daily routines. Non smoker preferred. Must be ok with cats. Compensation includes a private bedroom and bath, including all utilities. Location is within walking distance to Pearlridge Center. Background check required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Prepare and serve simple, healthy meals; assist with feeding if necessary
Offer companionship through conversation and shared activities (reading, music, hobbies)
Assist with medications as directed
Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying living areas)
Monitor and promptly communicate any changes in health or mood to family members
Feeding cats
