Deux Luxe: Front of House Manager
Deux Luxe is looking for a Front of House Manager to run the service side of our restaurant. In this position, you will oversee daily operations and ensure that the front-of-house (FOH) is running smoothly, as well as communicate and work with our back-of-house (BOH). You are ultimately responsible for customer satisfaction, so you must ensure staff is providing excellent customer service. You must also facilitate a smooth line of communication between the FOH and the kitchen. Our ideal candidate has several years of experience working in restaurants, preferably with some time spent in a supervisory role. As Front of House Manager at Deux Luxe, you will be directly reporting to Ownership & Higher Management, and will communicate and receive reports from the Back of House Lead.
Front of House Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality
Organize and supervise shifts
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Work with Back of House Lead to estimate future needs for goods, supplies, and cleaning products
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Oversee opening and closing tasks and balance daily and nightly cash drawers.
Facilitate quick and efficient communication between front and back-of-house.
Front of House Manager Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Several years of operations or restaurant experience
Supervisory experience
Able to maintain a high-volume quick service restaurant
Strong leadership and effective team management skills
Communication abilities
Organization skills and forward thinking
Bilingual in both English and Spanish
NY Food Safety Health Certificate Required before start date
Full-time position (40 hours a week)
Hourly: $23-$25/hr depending on experience
Possibility for overtime when approved
