DOB Licensed Construction Superintendent
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $65,000 - $120,000 per year

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced NYC DOB-licensed Construction Superintendent to oversee active job sites throughout New York City. This role is responsible for daily site oversight, safety compliance, and ensuring all work meets NYC DOB rules and Safety Code Chapter 33 requirements. You will track site activity, document conditions, report hazards, and work with project teams to correct issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Confirm all work aligns with approved drawings, permits, and DOB requirements.
Identify, document, and report safety hazards or potential violations.
Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection notes, and compliance records.
Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve issues quickly.
Ensure that all required permits, sign-offs, and inspections are obtained and up to date.
Stay current on updates to NYC DOB regulations and Safety Code Chapter 33.
Requirements
Valid NYC DOB Construction Superintendent License (Required)
Completion of the 62-hour Site Safety Training (SST) program
Prior experience as a DOB Superintendent or similar construction oversight role
Solid understanding of NYC DOB codes, Chapter 33 safety rules, and job-site safety practices
Strong communication, recordkeeping, and reporting abilities
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying hazards or compliance gaps
