The County of Sonoma Human Services Department (HSD) seeks qualified applicants to fill two Adult and Aging Program Development Manager positions!

Starting salary up to $67.55/hour ($140,984/year) plus a competitive total compensation package!

This recruitment is currently being conducted to fill two Adult and Aging Program Development Manager positions in the Human Services Department, one full-time position in the Community and Administrative Services section, and one time-limited position in the Master Plan for Aging program, which is currently funded through 12/31/2026. About the Community and Administrative Services Program Development Manager:

This Program Development Manager will be assigned to the Community and Administrative Services section of the Adult and Aging Division, providing oversight and direction to a group of Program Planning and Evaluation Analysts and managing the day-to-day operations of the Area Agency on Aging and other community-related initiatives. They will report directly to the Community and Administrative Services Section Manager, ensuring the Area Agency on Aging and other community initiatives are aligned and appropriately resourced to meet department requirements.

About the Master Plan for Aging (MPA) Program Development Manager:

This Program Development Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Sonoma County Master Plan for Aging, providing oversight, direction, and staffing support to six or more Action Team subcommittees for the Sonoma County Aging and Disability Commission. They will report directly to the Adult and Aging Division Director, working closely with the MPA Leadership group comprised of directors from non-profit organizations, a department representative from the Department of Health Services, and a member of the Board of Supervisors.
